may sound obvious, but if you want to
get published, your poetry must be
unique, original and worth publishing.
4. Submit your poems to poetry pub-
lishers. Now that you've written your

your poetry published ... it's time to

Guide to Getting Published, click here.
Poetry has always been a very popular
form of writing. It’s taught in school, it's
created a greeting card industry, and it's
even influenced pop music. And there
is still a lot of great new poetry being
published today. In fact, judging by the
number of poetry books currently out
there, we could be seeing a resurgence
in poetry publishing.
If you want to publish your poetry, there
are 4 basic steps that you can take:
1. If you want to write poetry, then read
poetry. The more you read, the better
you’ll write. And the type of poetry you
enjoy reading will likely be the type you
will be best at writing. So if you want to
publish your poems, read a lot of poetry.
